I took my iPhone 6 for repaired , was assured it would be fixed and paid £140 up front for new battery etc , after 3 weeks I got phone back and was told it was fixed , no it wasn’t . I signed a document when I handed over my cash , was not given a receipt, though DVe Pleece claims I was , the signed document could not be found , though he offered to check with his accountant for a fee ...a bloody joke ! I’m an oap and cannot afford to forget about £140 , as I now need a new phone . Can any of his other disgruntled customers tell me if it’s worth my while going to the small claims court ...can they make him pay up ?? I intend to follow this up . How can this man be in business on Hertford High St .

I took my laptop in to get a USB port fixed and he somehow managed to break or remove the internal wifi antenna and then fobbed me off with a cheap wifi USB dongle in the very port that I wanted him to fix. Bear in mind that I hadn't asked him to go anywhere near the wifi antenna, which is embedded in the laptop screen, which he should not have had any need to touch. He also managed to give my external hard drive away to another customer and it took a week of me insisting that my personal data be retrieved from another member of the public before I got it back. Insisted I could only pay by cash in advance. Generally evasive and shifty. Really shouldn't be in business.

After 3months and £350 later still waiting for the pc. Evasive, full of exudes, often not answering the phone, he has already supposed to have repaired it but it didn't work so had to return it and pay more money. I will let you know if and when I ever get it back Disgusted of Hertford.

Took my laptop in for repair on the port paid £50 before it was even mended and then took it home to have it turn itself off after an hour or so then steadily as the days went on the lap top turned off more and more frequently Hes now told me the battery needs replacing and will cost £80 (its an ASUS) but seriously why not say this before taking £50 off me for only it to not work properly? He ought to have checked before charging me. Hes a miserable sod also and makes his own opening hours to suit himself and he goes off for ten minutes whenever he pleases!! Opens at 9,45 Wont be going back unless i decided to make a fuss about this 'so called' repair. Its seems he shouldn't really run a shop when he doesn't seem to care about work ethics or people! He does the bare minimum. No custumer Care

Have used this shop time and time again and they never disappoint. The price is good and they don't charge diagnosis like some places do. Not many of this type of shop left now a days. Customer service is spot on. As soon as I come in they are straight up to serve me, giving me a price within 10 minutes. Parking directly outside shop too which is a bonus. The Manager is a great guy very helpful and knowledgeable, has same dog as me too.

What a FANTASTIC shop. I took two laptops in for repair and they did me a to repair them both. They talked me through the options available to me and helped me decide. Both laptops are working really well now just like new. I cannot fault the service I received. The staff are great especially young Chris. Happy bunny me !!!

Took my ipad with its broken screen to them a couple of months ago. The screen was fixed in just a few days and they only charged £89. It was a ipad air so I think that price is good. There was a woman in the shop at the time who had lost her data on her laptop and they had managed to get it all back. She was beside herself with joy.....

Very good at what they do. Price is good and service is fine. Could do with opening Sundays but I suppose they have to have one day off.

I was so HAPPY when they managed to rescue all my baby photos from the broken usb stick. I thought I had lost them for good. The staff were very nice and kind even though I was in tears. It was tears of joy once I got the news. They said the may or may not be able to save the pictures but they did it. SO SO HAPPY.

I have used this shop for many years and I am never disappointed with the service I receive. They did it again and fixed my poorly laptop. I would not have a clue. They are so good at explaining everything and for someone who is over 70 I really feel relaxed with them.

I am very IMPRESSED with the service I received. I had two computers and one ipad repaired at the shop and on each occasion I was meet with very kind and helpful staff. They could not do enough to help. I was seen immediately and a price to fix provided there and then. Did not have to wait days for a quote. Simply paid the price quoted and within days my computers and Ipad were fixed as good as new. The Manager is a wonder, he saved all my photo’s and documents and sold me a hard drive to store them on. They also gave me a quote on a new pc. I think I will be back to order one !!! Thanks.

They really are the BEST. Helped me sort out my poorly laptop, saved my photo's and made it as good as new. I am not very Tech minded but the staff were very helpful and talked me through all the options. I will use again and again.

Dear Hertford.... Please read this before you go to "Computer Care" on Fore Street My 16 year old son, who has Asperger’s syndrome. Went into the store and explained he wanted to increase the quality of wi fi in his bedroom. The man sold him a box for a “wi fi network range extender”. I met him in town drove home, my son said 1) he asked to pay by card but was told no. 2) paid by cash and did NOT receive a receipt. I explained you must always ask for a receipt no matter how much money you are spending. (This item cost £59.99). He got it home opened the box, to find it was empty. I took him straight back and received a full box. When his dad got home he said that is not what you need, you need an Ethernet extender. But they tried plugging this in anyway, it didn't work, they followed all the instructions, but nothing. As it wasn't what he needed anyway I popped back to the shop, explained all of the above and asked nicely for a refund. We had owned the item for less than an hour. The customer service was disgraceful, he threatened to physically assault me if I didn't get out of his shop. I called my partner for help, and said all I want is Jamie's money back. Paul was scared for my safety and phoned the police for advice. The police came into the store, and tried to mediate, unfortunately it is a civil matter.
