Cycle Training with National Standard Cycle Instructor. Beginners, improvers and advanced road cycling for children and adults in small groups and individual lessons. Also Bikeability courses for schools.
Start of a new term, are the schools booking up before the autumn weather starts? Some are by the look of things. My two grannies, both beginners at the start of August can both now cycle and are making rapid progress, sadly both are off on holidays so will they lose some of their new found skills? This is the week for doing the paperwork before training starts in earnest again next week.
Well, this last few weeks have been a bit soggy. Will the next few days be as bad? I have had to cancel a session last week and postpone one this week due to the wet stuff.Still cyclists are not usually put off too much by rain - we soon dry out. Having great success with beginners at the moment. All that have tried have needed no more than two lessons. Pleasing. Tina.
Very happy to work with adult beginners as well as children.
Member of The Association of Bikeability Schemes (TABS) , All instructors are members of the Eastern Region Instructor Training Organisation (ERITO) they are all fully acredited, DBS checked to work with children, have Cycle Activity Provider insurance cover and have basic first aid training. Most improtantly they are all enthusiastic cyclists too.
Beginner Biking courses teach adults to teach their children. With1-2-1 lessons for older children and adults of all
Take a few lessons with me and you will be riding a bike all around the local cycle tracks and trails.
Adult beginners a speciality - the last three all learned to ride on two wheels within 4 lessons (one in just an hour with me).
This is something I can certainly help with - advanced road positioning will help your confidence as will knowing how to make sure other road users know in advance what you are planning to do - it all helps.
Also help with planning your routes to work/gym etc. will help you to avoid those tricky junctions.

Feedback from Beginner Bikers Monday 29th July 2013 “I was so surprised at how quickly Harrison picked it up. So proud of him. Thank you.” “Excellent course. My son’s friend has also done the course and so we had been practicing. Amazing.” “I thought the bike riding course was fantastic! It is so simple but so effective! Brilliant! Definitely will recommend.” “I can’t believe how quickly he has learnt to ride. Amazing teaching! I am so glad that we came to this session. I wouldn’t have known where to start.” “So simple but so effective. My son could ride in a straight line unaided by the end of the lesson.” Absolutely astounded by the progress my children have made in 1 hour. The clear tips on how to teach them myself were invaluable.” “Fantastic course, Sam said, “I loved it.” I know feel I have the skills to get him riding his bike.” (All the above comments are from parents whose children arrived unable to ride but left after 1 hour riding their bikes unaided.) Below are comments from parents whose children nearly made it… “Really enjoyed the course, really helped to practice. Excellent!” “Helpful to know the correct way to start, so you can work on it.” “I feel as a parent, I have learnt a lot to show my children at home.”
