Brian has run his driving school in Stevenage since 1985 (over 23yrs) and is a top grade (6) DSA Driving Instructor, and in June 2004 had his 1,000 pass, Of which 658 passed first time 65.8% pass rate. The National average pass rate is 43%. Before choosing a driving Instructor ask the following questions, are they fully qualified and not trainees and how long have they been an Instructor, ask what their average pass rate is and what are their current prices (remember cheap lessons are not always the best value) All driving Instructors are graded 1 to 6 by the D S A ,but must reach 4 or above to stay on the DSA Register, grade 4 is adequate, grade 5 is good and grade 6 is very good.
