We are a multi faceted company that deal with all aspects of home and business maintenance. From heating and plumbing throuh to locks and glazing.
I agree with MacKenzie. My son had a leaking boiler on a Sunday afternoon - they promised a response within an hour! They rank at 6pm to say that they would be out the next day. The next day they demanded a £200 cash deposite before buying the replacement parts. Two days later the boiler leaked again (Thurs). We had promise after promise that they would come out on Thurs, Fri and Sat. Eventually the engineer came out late on Sat and could not get the part until Monday - he again wanted a deposit. Throughout this period my son, his wife and FOUR young children were without water or heating. We must have made 20 telephone calls and received promises that the engineer would be there shortly. They were clearly lying and knew that the engineer would not be there. Because of their inefficiency we binned them and got a better and cheaper service from a local engineer. Their advertisement says they are a 24/7 local service - they are a bunch of wasters!!!! I would not touch them with a barge pole.
I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THIS COMPANY A STAR AS I WORKED FOR THIS COMPANY AND APART FROM RIPPING ME OFF THEY USED TO RIP THE CUSTOMERS OFF.FOR INSTANCE CHARGE THE CUSTOMERS DOUBLE OR MORE FOR PARTS AND GET YOU TO SAY THINGS NEEDED REPLACING WHEN THEY DID NOT. BEWARE THEY REQUIRE A DEPOSIT AND ON A FEW OCCASIONS DID NOT RETURN TO FINISH THE JOB(MAKE SURE YOU PAY BY CREDIT CARD SO YOU ARE COVERED JUST IN CASE) THEY ALSO LIKE TO RIP OAPS OFF, ONE INSTANCE WAS THE PARAMEDICS HAD TO BREAK A FIRE DOOR TO GET THIS LADY TO HOSPITAL,THEY TOLD ME TO QUOTE £900+ VAT ..THE DOOR WAS £50 FROM B+Q AND THE LABOUR WAS NO MORE THAN 6 HOURS TO FIT...DONT EVER USE THEM FOR BLOCKED DRAINS AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 40 QUID PER HOUR AND SAY YOU NEED A JETTER THAT THEY DONT PROVIDE , JUST BEWARE AND LOOK OUT FOR THEM ON WATCHDOG SOON ALL MY ABOVE COMMENTS CAN BE FULLY BACKED UP BY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS, BOUNCED CHEQUES AND DODGY INVOICES THEY USED TO GIVE ME FOR THE CUSTOMERS.IF NEADBY. JUST TO MENTION THE COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER ON THE INVOICES USED TO BE VOID.
We had a problem with our shower. The plumber came to mend it and had to replace it which cost 520 quid. 2 weeks later it broke, we followed the companys instructions for reporting a fault and heard nothing. After 7 false calls when they promised us an appointment and we took time off work for them not to show up a "plumber" came and told us that it would cost us £1000's in investigative work to find out what was wrong with the shower and plumbing. We got another plumber, £40 later we have a working shower and he says it should never have cost £520 in the first place. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
i managed to get this company out at 2230hrs last night, they stopped my leak and this mornig have replaced the part and im warm again..... £45 per hour for a service that late. Was quoted over £100 elsewhere, if only eveyone delivered this kind of service. THANKYOU
Came out to me within 1 hour, cheapest rate i could find anywhere, but you wouldnt think it for the service they provided. Corgi registered engineer called Erik replaced my pilot light and gave the boiler a good clean.... not like the previous two companies that just tied to replace my boiler... I had a leaking boiler and was desperate for someone to come out... i was being quoted in excess of £65 per hour, until i found Arena, they came out to me on £40 per hour told me what the problem was explained how to prevent it happening again, replaced the part and left me good as new. Would highly recommend Arena to anyone.
